Biography

Cynthia Milner Woodman is RMI's President, CFO, & Co-Founder.  She received her Master's degree in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her Bachelor's degree in Nutrition Research/Dietetics from Purdue University.  In addition, she completed an internship in Dietetics at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA and an externship in Clinical Nutrition at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL.

Before co-founding RMI, Cindy worked at the National Institutes of Health as a Research Dietitian in the Public Health Service Commissioned Officers Corp where, in addition to working with patients, developed Nutrition Standards of Practice for the NIH Clinical Center, and presented to the committee of the National Academy of Sciences responsible for developing Recommended Dietary Allowances (RDAs).  She also worked as chief clinical dietitian at the George Washington University Medical Center and at the University of Tennessee-City of Memphis Hospitals, where she provided and supervised direct patient care and developed employee worksite wellness materials and programs.  Cindy has also lectured to lay and professional groups on various aspects of nutrition, and has taught courses on sports health and nutrition to high school students.
